Don't ask her to stop. Instead, get in the habit of telling her to STOP [i]when it is happening[/i]. Just put up your hand in the stop gesture and tell her, "Enough of that! Stop_____right now."

You do not have to be rude to be clear. Tell her in short clear sentences what you don't like.

You won't make much progress with this if you are fearful about "being controversial," or too concerned with being polite. Bullies use this to keep you in your traditional place as their victim. Their unspoken message us, "Don't argue with me, or I'll make a big scene and then blame it all on you and make you feel guilty for standing up to me." Do not allow this kind of manipulation.

Try having a simple heart -to-heart chat with her. If she can't treat you with respect, then the least contact you have with her will be better for you!
