Do you feel the same?

Listening to music brings nostalgia, You're feeling hurt but you still want to listen.

After some breakups (one in particular) I absolutely couldn’t listen to the radio for years. Except for talk radio maybe. Didn’t matter if I had ever heard the song or not, I didn’t want to connect to any song that could potentially strike a nerve. It was a really dark era. Didn’t help that the ex was a musician. I’m not but somehow music really connected us more than I realized.

@NiftyWhite This I can definitely relate, both of us do music.

And on a different note, your profile is ❤️

@NiftyWhite [c=004A59]I don't listen to radio, but I went thru something similar. I threw out more than 50% of my CDs. It wasn't the sad songs that got me; suddenly, there were hate messages everywhere. Didn't help that I was a musician and most of the guys who 💔 were as well.[/c]

I don't feel hurt but I reminisce on it

[c=004A59]Oddly, sad songs don't make me feel sad. Some songs bring back "the good old days" of childhood for me though, and that's bittersweet.[/c]
