I Am Concerned About Climate Change

I am terrified
SoFine · 46-50, F
Earth time 4,5 billion years. That's a very, very long time.
The earth has been through so much chemistry, fire and ice.

Us the little ants on the surface, can be expelled anytime, by earthquake, by plate shifts, by passing asteroid.

Fear sells products, that's why the news peddles in fear, the News like to scare the shit out of you. (Why fall for lies )

Patterns are life, patterns cycle over and over. Till you get to see these patterns of flow, you will be so in fear.

Why would Obama purchase a 15 million house on the coast? If he did believe in Climate Change, his house would be high, high above sea level to void of the sea rise.

Remember we have now 31,000 polar ice bears, their numbers have increased, not decrease as was predicted.

Yes we fight pollution, yes we must....

So, we won't die on mass in 12 years. You will still need to work, earn money, love, have children. ...life will go on.
@SoFine@jomsim actually... we have maybe 10 years to turn around this inevitable climate catastrophe. And at best a few will survive...

Rich people think their magical thinking will keep them rich and HERE (or on some other planet maybe or the moon?)

Other like to copy that madness in their heads too.

We are cooked no matter what we do and planting trees is great and I will help plant them but if the thing is turned around completely today we will still roast in hell before its over. Older people will be lucky they missed the worst of it.

@Stilltryinghard The "roast" will be determined by the Sun.....cooling could be here in 20 to 30 years time. The Sun our biggest, biggest solar body in our neck of the woods, we are so 99% effected by our HUGE SUN.
@SoFine I know about anti-climate awareness in SOME powerful agenda-driven media.

NUFF SAID (as my father use to say)

[c=#7700B2]climate change is inevitable, nothing anyone can do to change it despite what people in power try claiming just to profit off of others fear.. why fear what you can not control? it is what it is[/c]

The world is fucked no reversing it now

Me too, and I'm increasingly acting on it. If people won't listen, we have to force them to listen. If the owners of newspapers keep peddling lies, we have to bring them down. If politicians won't do anything, we will get them out of office.

@jomsim Then let go of your car, your heating and cooling in your hone, or move into a cave. How the hell will all under 30yo live without their convenience of mobile phones and computers. ...haha walk to school or work. Can't wait to see them let go of comfort.

I think ppl are finally getting the picture that CC is important. The most stubborn of GOP’ers will fade away as Boomers and Gen X’ers will make up more moderate versions of them. We can STILL be pro energy and pro agriculture AND keep our planet alive too.

What does that fear serve?
@Peaceful This fear services the agents of NO ACTIOn so the catastrophic greed-plunder-burn cycle

never stops
