Watched as two young children from very different backgrounds privilege/refugee playing so happily in the snow today. What happen to humanity? How did we grow so hatful and hurtful?
How did we grow so hateful? We're better than we ever have been. Humanity consistently grows. Humanity is FAAAAAAAR more connected than ever before. We have a tremendous amount of knowledge compared to 100 years ago. And we are much more aware that other people are also humans.
Yeah, we still have this innate fear of differences, which easily turns to hatred. But we are also much more aware of the implications, which stops a lot of shit.
You're just focusing on all the negatives. Think on good things. Humanity has come very far. We improve very slowly, but we always improve.
