I Make Mistakes
I think nothing can beat God's sense of humor.....when He teaches a lesson.
A decade ago, I thought I would follow soon after hubby passed away. I took an insurance policy to leave my son, just in case. I was at the height of my grief so I never really bothered to take a look at it. It was buried among the files. I couldn't believe ten years had passed. Last week, I was notified of its maturity.
To my excitement I said yes to every instruction given on how to claim and where.
So I went to the office building. For someone who felt so many psychosomatic symptoms then but had overcome, I walked in feeling six inches taller. Without further ado, I spread the insurance policy on the table, smiling, oozing with confidence. The lady was baffled as she looked at it, and said it was a policy by another insurance company.![]()
O M G....poise gone. Ego gone as well.
