So funny story...

Remember my post about my portable ac? Well, lets roll back a few months back for context. We smelt fish in our house. Didn't know what the smell was. Maybe food or something. Didn't think too much over it, lasted about 2 hours and it was gone.

Fast forward to now. I start my AC, the lights flicker, no big deal they often do that right? Few hours pass. I get a knock on my door. Roommates are freaking out saying their outlets are hot to the touch. Mine are actually fine, just theirs are hot.

Eh. Turns out our three rooms are on a single circuit. With 3 gaming computers to each room, then my room add a mini fridge and portable ac. And if you have a smell of fish with no signs of cooking fish, your wires are probably being overloaded.

Contacted our rental agency to let them know the issue, hopefully they put each room on its own circuit so I can use my stuff again.

TLDR; 3 rooms on one circuit is overloading the wires and might cause a fire, so we made contact and hopefully it will get taken care of promptly.
Twice I knocked out the power to our whole (small - about 40 apartments) because my toaster oven took it over the top.

if I hadn't confessed, nobody would've known I was the culprit.

Sounds like my shithole, run a hair dryer at the same time as the a/c is on you'll be in the basement changing fuses.

@Kinevi1 Everything in the place is half - assed. I've been lucky (knock wood) I've had no problems with anything.
