I Wish All Friends Were Forever Friends

I have a friend who had a really rough chrismas break we would always see each other every day. Her and I talked a lot but since chrismas she had medical issues and spent the better part of two weeks in hospital. Now since then I have only got to see her once I feel we are drifting apart every chance I try and catch up with her now she is over staying with her mum. Last week she said she will be back in my area today so I messaged her asking when we could catch up. I finally got a response saying plans had changed and she was now back with her mum
