I Have To Vent

I'm so bummed by how everything is now a days. Having a real conversation is practically impossible. People are so comfortable with only texting or doing things solely on their phones. I'm 23, so I know that I should've been swallowed by the internet & be as indulged as everyone else, but I'm not. It makes me feel like I'm weird. Like I have nothing in common with most people. I have NO social media & don't care what the people that I know are doing on a daily basis. I'm so disinterested in knowing people's every move. I just wish that there were more people that I connected with on a personal level. Rant over. Haha. ✌🏻

I think I'm one of very few people that I know of who actually has friends over and we actually have a conversation in my living room . I don't have a t.v in every room in my home ....

I do that as well. I make it a point to meet up with people and actually spend time with them. I enjoy conversation over coffee or tea or a beer. It's so important to actually interact with people. So many things can be miscommunicated via text. I just prefer the real thing.

I write letters to one of my cousins who's currently incaurcerated, & it's the best feeling to receive anything from him in the mail. Letters are great though!
