Love piercing on ears

Reopened my left helix pierced hole it got swollen should I leave and get my right side a new helix pierced or drop it ? FYI
, I think because I reopen it with a push pin I damaged it it was never infected before

I typically use a sowing needle with white string. That way, I tie the string in a small loop and am able to move it around as I apply hydrogen peroxide and alcohol to avoid infection.

You should always go with your instincts and desires. That way it's easier to do your own piercing, because you truly desire it so the pain can be pushed down

@iQuit never thought of piercing my own I would go to a play only one good side left I don’t want to mess it up lol

@AsianEyezChulaRp when you do it on your own the pain is considerable the deeper you go into areas with cartilage.

When doing it on your own or professionally you must make sure they properly mark the areas that are pierced so they're even. Do the Dumbo and pull out your ears when you look into the mirror before you have it done.

Please above anything make sure any equipment is properly sterilized. Then after to disinfect often as the wound heals because having an infection is the worst. If your hole closes up and you need to reopen it always make sure to use a sharp needle (that's been properly disinfected)
