I agree with DMN, he doesn't give a realistic view of a people pleaser. When you're being a people pleaser, you're being fake, manipulative and inauthentic. But you will have a lot of people who like you. It will be mistaken for "kindness". Although there may be an element of that as well.
P.S. Although I can certainly see how they would attract a narcissist. It would boost their ego and self worth X100, which is what they live for.

@SW-User true, people pleasers are not real as they keep ignoring their own needs to acommodate others, You must be real to yourself,if your girlfriend was a people pleaser does not mean you were a narc unless you habitually took advantage of that trait in her.
