I Remember Life Before the Internet

@Repete It does save time but it takes our time too because most have become addicted to internet now!

Why social life was better till mid 90's?

To buy clothes and shoes, we used to go outlets/sale/mall!

To have food, we used to go to the nearest restaurant!

To buy tickets for the most awaited movie, we used to go and buy the ticket in advance!

Etc.!

Now, anything you wish to do just click on an app!

Less body movement and less interaction with people!

Worst!

Earlier, people used to listen to each other at get-togethers!

Now, we are engrossed in our phone while the conversation is going on and on!

Literally, people talk to each other by looking at their phones!

Talking and replying to messages on chat-applications!

At the same time!

Then, comes the chat profile status!

" I am all alone despite thousands around me "

Who is responsible for that?

For personal things to business things I agree it seems to save time but it seems like every minute it saves we need to spend 2 minutes in added work . Where I work they save time then we have more surveys or things to keep track of . We was going paperless yea right now I think we use more paper than ever.internet has it's good points but at what costs. Everyone becomes their own little island it seems. Especially the people that really don't like to get out much.@ExplorerofInfiniteSpaces
