I Remember Life Before the Internet

Before good ole dialup internet found its way into my rural home, I spent most of my time in the woods. I had my favorite "bike trails," which were just trails made by wildlife. "Too hot" and "too cold" didn't exist. I'd wear more clothes to stay warm, or jump in the creek to cool off. If I wanted to connect with friends, my mom would call my friend's mom. After they talked for 2 hours, I'd find out if my friend could come over for a while.
