Fingernail growth is about 0.5–1mm each week, toenails about 50% of that. Your toenails may grow only 1mm each month, that would be perfectly normal. In the summer, nails grow faster because of a higher availability of vitamin D.
Not using any nail polish will help your nails stay healthy.

I don't think so 🤔...

This is a strange question. Mine seem to grow just fine they seem to grow quickly. I'm ok with cutting mine once or twice a month.
RebeccaG · 46-50, F
@Isthisit painted or natural?
Emele · 31-35, FVIP

@Emele Additional info: exposing your feet to the sunlight as often as possible will lead to increased nail growth, because the Sun is your best source of vitamin D.

@helenS That makes sense as to why it might feel like a long time since I last needed to do it! Having been in the long dark winter months
helenS · 36-40, F
@Emele Lack of sunlight (because we wear socks and shoes) is one of the two main reasons why toenails grow more slowly, compared with fingernails. The other one is gravity. Honest, true.
They keep growing
@helenS yes hair too
helenS · 36-40, F
@ExperienceDLT Pretty scary 😬

No your toenails will grow continuously just a lot slower than your fingernails.I swear all my nails grew faster when I was pregnant.
No set rule for when I trim my toenails.Sometimes I let them grow out a little.
RebeccaG · 46-50, F
Teaching p e I can’t really let mine grow out x. @tallpowerhouseblonde
