I Love the Beatles

First of all, I'm not a lifelong Beatles fan. I was into bands such as The Who, The Kinks, Small Faces etc. but I never paid any attention to The Beatles. Then about 5-6 years ago, I started to frequent The Kavern Club in LIverpool on Monday evenings, where Marcus Cahill (a John Lennon lookalike and soundalike) was doing a set at the time.

Gradually their songs began to grow on me...I used to think that their stuff wasn't half bad...then I began to appreciate their music more and more, to the point that I did then unthinkable - I went out and started purchasing their albums. Even then, I was only going to buy one or two, but ended buying their whole back catalouge.

As for my favourite albums, I would have to say that they are Rubber Soul, Revolver, The Magical Mystery Tour...and of course, The White Album.
