My dad started talking about death when I was 5 or 6. He always had high blood pressure. Always thought he would have a heart attack. He died in 2008 of cancer. In 2007 he said everything has an expiration date, including me.
Mom is still hanging in there but I am a little worried about her. I'm sure my dad watches over her.

So yeah never know when you will loose him as well. Hopefully he will survive a while, but you need to plan your future.
