What do you think of this season so far?

I stopped watching at season 6, episode 15 (I think it was). I couldn't bear to watch the finale – episode 16 – and season 7 is a no go for me. I really enjoyed this show, but it became brutal in the extreme. I can't watch gratuitous violence.

@ClassySOB: I like Jefferey Dean Morgan, but if I watch him as Negan, I think it will affect how I think of him. His character is too violent for my sensibilities, and it was already a violent show.

I'm not sure if this is a spoiler, but they lied to Negan about Maggie's death. I'm sure that'll come back to bite them real soon.
