I most terrifying day of my life as a father was the day my kids drove out of the street with a new drivers licence for the first time. I KNEW I was never going to see them alive again.. But I did. Good Luck,.

I have a granddaughter that just got her drivers license. God help us.

Wait til they get their license and can drive alone 😕
trackboy · 22-25, M
will they be running over people on the side walk as they weave all over when learning to drive??? you will want to find a big empty parking lot to give him his first driving lesson in. then a deserted industrial park for first on road driving. 😺

Good luck with the permit. The excitement is tinged with a bit of sadness as you think-they growing up and then every time they get in the car and you are not with them anxiety takes root in the pit of the stomach -all part of life growing up and changing :)

When you get over the fear of them driving you’ll appreciate the added help. They don’t mind running their siblings places.

@samueltyler2 what sins are they driving to events???? do they need a sin eater to eat their sins at their funerals???
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@trackboy sorry for the funny auto correct, siblings is what I meant

updown2020 · 61-69, M
Well very good just warn them with a spanking of their life if the use the phone while driving. And look at it as someone else to help you move the other siblings around and can do errands for you.lol

samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@AndreaMom have you been able to maintain all the skills in this rapidly changing medical world? I am a retired pediatrician and tocicologists. I find it difficult to stay up to date#
AndreaMom · 41-45, F
Well I take continuing education courses to keep up but it’s only been four years, still!@samueltyler2
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@AndreaMom that is a long time. Just think about the change in the use of opioids! What kind of nurse are you?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
I lived through it with 3 kids and a grand son. They are all surviving despite my fears. My grand son is a pretty good driver. It is still frightening to me when I know they are driving.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I think I almost had a heart attack at least 50 times between my 3 kids. I wish you patience and a sense of humor...you’re gonna need it!! 👍
