I Enjoy Complexity
The human condition is about the complexity of life. We strive to find a balance within ourselves. To enjoy life requires us to embrace and enjoy the complexity of who we are.
The individual is alone, yet seeks to be part of a group. Those who are truly isolated risk madness as a result. Even a loner will seek a friend or companion for a lifetime or many for a brief period.
We are driven to reproduce and yet also are blessed with the ability to love and be loved. Sex or perversion, touch or violence, held or rejected are all options in how we view this complex part of our being.
The faith that seems to be a part of the human race causes some to reject their flaws and failings, while others revel in them. Differences are either a barrier between, or a reason to embrace.
The person seeks to achieve success by their own standard, yet can dispense charity to those in need. The human is capable of being angel or demon and at times, both in succession.
We are bound by the limits of words and phrases to express our deepest secrets. Yet we can communicate via a hug or kiss that says in moments what hours of words fail to deliver.
Friendship is undefinable, yet we all know what it is. The same being may be filled with both hate, love, and indifference at the same time. The miracle is that our society manages to function with the complexities of each simple human.
Yet the greatest joys in life are often the simplest of things. A smile, a glance, or a gentle touch can add sunshine to a persons' life.
The world and our relationships are far more complex that I have touched upon today. I plan on continuing my studies until my final breath.
