Looks like I'm sleeping on the couch tonight

Getting kicked out of my bed for this has really annoyed me.
"So my lady is giving me the silent treatment because we're grocery shopping and I walk to a different isle to get something. This woman compliments me on my outfit and I smiled and said "thanks, I like your shoes"
Jealousy? And over receiving a compliment and being courteous by complimenting back? That's some serious insecurity. In my house if I get treated in such a manner (if we make it back that far), she gets shown the door. If she chooses to bitch in my car on the way to my house...

[image deleted]Know your value and stick to it. Chicks like that today are a dime a dozen, another will be on the horizon soon anyway.

@DudeistPriest I'm just really stunned how some females here tryna justify it.
@Indifferent I hear ya. Good for you, you've identified the source of the problem. That's all a part of the search for their inner selves (they didn't find at home) at your expense. So you tolerate their displays of insecurity where she tries to emotionally manipulate you into thinking it's your fault when it's really hers but chooses not to deal with it. The easy way out. No introspection, no self-reflection, and blame it all on you. You don't know how many times I've been through this. The pretty ones are the worst.

I have one rule, and one rule only in my life (especially at home) - peace at all times.

If a man finds that he must cater to the emotional needs of a partner by providing regular lessons in self-esteem and maturity that should have been received at home, then the appropriate thing to do is to wish them the best and move on in life. I don't need any more broken women introducing chaos in my life. Do yourself a favor and stop putting coins into a broken machine and upgrade to another that's tuned and calibrated for your needs. Date foreign (Asian, South American, East European) they're intelligent, physically fit, incredibly feminine, respectful and just a simple pleasure to be around. Good luck, hope this helps you.

Better then outside 🤷‍♀️ lol
My husband would refuse to sleep on the couch. Not sure if that's better or worse, but what would she do if you slept in the bed anyway?

I sleep on the sofa chronically. I have a sore back when I wake up and my ankles hurt because they've been twisted all night. I'm too tall to fit in there lol.
Just a hint, when she says, How does my ass look in these Jeans? You are not supposed to actually give your opinion.

We’ve gone to bed pissed at one another but I’ve never been on the couch

Find someone else. I don't see how a relationship can last when one person is insecure.
