So it happened again. I got stood up for a Starbucks date. 😒😑 It’s 5 minutes away from the off-site class I teach at, so at least it wasn’t too far. And to think I fixed myself up for him. Ass 😑😑
I have another coffee date tomorrow, but I’m positive THAT date will show up. He seems like a nice guy & very respectful towards me.
Haha. You’d think so right? But a lot of times I don’t get anything, even if my date offers to get me something. And if I do, it’s just green tea. It’s just a neutral place to meet, that’s cheap, & there are tons of them around. @DarlingSelah
Yup. My colleague’s 48 yr old sister is dating as well, but she’s been stiffed at nice restaurants by guys who say they have to go to the bathroom & then take off. So then she’s stiffed with a bill that’s over $100 because these guys also ordered drinks. How deplorable is that! 😧😑 @DarlingSelah
These guys just don’t seem to have manners or the guts to be upfront. For some of them, they’ll flake on me if they know I won’t be hooking up with them. They feel like they don’t want to make that effort for a coffee date first or waste their time. 🙄
Sorry that happened. I don’t know the story but certainly sounds rude an I’m sure it’s frustrating. Tomorrow sounds encouraging. Respectful is an impressive quality. 😀
I don’t understand why multiple men would arrange to meet you on a date and then not show up....it’s just baffling. If they don’t want to go on a date, they shouldn’t agree on a place and time.
Even so love... It don't take buts few seconds to msg or call n say sorry can't make it... Just a matter of good manners and thoughtfulness... @marsbar
