I Want A Group That No One Else Will Ever Visit

As I enjoy another weekend alone in my own group, I wonder: Do I really want to be alone? Is this all bravado, masking my loneliness? Do I need social connections, as psychologists from Maslow to Baumeister have stressed? Do I really want to find a good friend or lover that I can share my hopes and dreams with, and who I can in turn be there for when they need me?

Then I push it out of my mind and check out what I can binge-watch on Netflix.
