Black Widow debuted in the MCU before 2 of them, and yet had to wait till phase 4 to get her 1st solo movie, which is a prequel because she was already killed off, and now she’s going to be replaced? She could be getting a trilogy of solo movies set in the past before she became an Avenger, but that’s unlikely, and the fact this movie didn’t come out years earlier and be followed by 2 sequels by now is still sexist bullshit

Few enough female MCU characters get screen time as it is.

There are dozens of great characters that run the full gamet from 'child-friendly-safe-for-tv' to 'completely-batshit-crazy-what-were-you-thinking ??'

And yet in 'Endgame' for example you get 10 seconds of Red Witch+Pepper Potts+1 on the battlefield and any of these would/could have been expanded characters.

Sexist or just accurate to the comics? Black Widow is a side character. She supports teams, she doesn't really do great as the central focus. You want a solo female trilogy, you're getting Captain Marvel 2 and there will be a 3rd after that. Also Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Ms Marvel and She-Hulk are getting their own Disney+ shows.
