I Am a Sister
"I always wanted a father," she's said many times before. We have one, but he's broken or defective or whatever. I told her one time after she'd said that that she doesn't need a father; she's gone her whole life without one, so it makes no sense to try so desperately to get one now (which she tries to find from her failed boyfriends' families and that's sad and creepy).
Apparently, she told her therapist what I said. The woman wants to talk to me now. No thanks. Pay me. Maybe I'll talk to her if she pays me. Just kidding. No, I won't. I don't have to. If my sister had a problem with what I said, she can tell me. I think it's weird that she'd have to talk to me about that.
