Why Is Being Gay Considered “Amoral”? [I Am LGBT Friendly]

I could never grasp why being gay is considered an “amoral” act. Nor why people are homophobic in the first place. If God exists, and if God supposedly considers homosexuality a sin, then why is homosexuality so common not just in human beings but also in other animals? If it’s so allegedly unnatural, then why is it in our nature at all?

@BobGrant45 Not everyone would be gay though so it wouldn't happen. People will always have children, it's a poor excuse to look down on gay people. There's more to life than opening your legs just to have babies. A lot of straight people do that and end up divorcees and stuff.

@SatanBurger Basically. Relationships are more then just popping out babies and carrying on genes. I would find it more fulfilling to adopt personally.

@QueenOfZaun Not everyone needs to pass on genetics. It sounds bad and not saying that people shouldn't, however I've seen a lot of careless parents out there. It's a facet of evolution but that's all. We are social animals.

@BobGrant45 Being a parent isn’t the only aspect of life worth living for. I don’t want kids nor do I want to be a parent. I’m perfectly happy with that.

@BobGrant45 Animals are homosexual too so those are normal, you care so much about what is natural or not but don't understand your rules are not congruent with nature. Nevertheless I think it's a fallacy to begin with.
All your ancestors for a million generations were parents. All my ancestors were too.
Not true, there's heterosexual women who can't have children so what are those in nature?
Failure to parent is abnormal and a failure in life.
There's perfectly successful gay people parenting out there while there's failures in the heterosexuals community to parent for numerous reasons. Again no such thing as parenting or family IN THE WAY Americans want in nature, you are not normal. For centuries, kids in fact, grew up in extended families and was raised by a group. That's a fact.

@BobGrant45
Extinction is real.
Then despite more population and more gay people, we're growing. We've obviously grown three times as a species since we were first here. You all homophobes have said this for centuries and for centuries humankind has only grown. You are simply wrong.

@BobGrant45 It's cute when people fail to understand evolution but use it to justify hatred onto groups. I think that's called the naturalistic fallacy, everything we do is natural that's why using it to justify against any one thing is a gross oversimplification.

Sex has evolved to be social in many other animal species including ours, this following link explains that about monkeys since you care to bring up nature.

There's more than one factor that goes into our survival.

Our species has grown despite more gay people so you're just wrong.
