I'm Just Saying

"De-extinction or resurrection biology is an idea that involves bringing back species from the dead with the help of cloning. Although dinosaurs wouldn’t be good candidates, because their remains are so old and their DNA so degraded, woolly mammoths have been discussed as a possible contender." (Taken from Yahoo News)

Why bring mammoths back to life? For what reason or purpose would this benefit us or the rest of this planet? Why can't we just let things be and be satisfied with that?

The benefit would be that you could actually see for yourself things no one has seen since the pyramids were being built. It's the same reason we fight to preserve animals like tigers, who the hell benefits from tigers? People can control the overpopulation of herbivore themselves and not get in danger, so there's no real use to keep large predators around, but there is good reason. Because some things are useful just by being there for us to see.
Do u believe that" giants " once roamed the planet ???
