I Admire My Mother

i will miss my mother. i knew this day was coming and now it is here staring me in the face. My mother is 85 years old and facing death from cancer. She was given 90 days to live about 30 days ago. As i sit here all the memories of her flood in upon me from the day i lost my first tooth to my first fight with the 2 boys around the corner. She was there for both of them. She clapped when i got my first 'A" in school and was there the day i pitched my no hit shut-out in the little league all star game. She pushed me in my music lessons to practice and practice until music became my love of my life. She was there for me when my first wife destroyed my first marriage with the 10 affairs she had. I moved back home with her blessings. She was sad when i moved out 3 weeks later when i remembered why i left to begin with - freedom- . She has backed me with everything i have ever done - no questions asked. She approved of my current wife of 23 years and always has been there for me and my brothers. She has set a wonderful example being married 68 years to my dad who is also faltering. i will miss her when the time comes but for the moment- i have 61 years of memories flooded in my brain to enjoy. i will miss you Mom and i love you very much!!!!![image deleted][image deleted]
