I Think Kids Say the Cutest Things
Lessons from a six year old..
One of my younger sisters is a nanny for family with two children. Both parents work, and don't have the time during the day to spend with their kids, so she was hired to do so. She told me about a walk that she was taking with the children, and the little girl was stopping to smell every flower that she came across, including ones that don't have any kind of scent at all. My sister said, "Kiki, those flowers don't smell." And the little girl responded, "Have you smelled every flower?" My sister said "No." And the girl said "Well the ones that you don't stop to smell are probably the ones that smell the best, so smell all the flowers!!"
