I Believe In God

These past few days I've really been looking to god for strength. My ex passed away she has played a huge part in my life for 7 years. However the last conversation we had was a fight. I told her she was a waste of time. I didn't mean what I said I was upset but I can't believe that is her last memory of me. I wanted to say sorry but was to hard headed. Now she's gone, I've spoken to god more these past four days then I probably have in months. Just for the strength to be able to wake up and go to work. Thank you god for all you have done.

I've been told a number of times that when we pass, we're filled with so much understanding--it's one of the gifts of closing out our human life... and our hearts are filled with peace and clarity.

So, if you're inclined to get your belief system aligned with what I just said, no matter what the conversation or argument was, she holds only love for you, now. And isn't that just about the coolest thing God could give us?

I'm so sorry for your loss . Don't be too hard on yourself . When my Dad passed away the last thing that he would've remembered was my mom getting angry at him for not eating at the hospital and saying he's not fighting hard enough he's just giving in ... I think many people have gone through similar things . So, for what it's worth you're not alone in this

A loss like this will take some time to get over. And you never really "get over" it. You just learn to live with it. I can tell you from personal experience that you do learn to live with it. But it will take time.
