It's Ok to question.

Foolish is the one who, upon seeing the man walking on water, didn't believe.
Credit, on the other hand, has not been earned by the one who, because he saw, believes.

The ease of believe that must surely come to those who witnessed miracles with their own eyes, has always been a matter of considerate thought for me. Almost to the extent of a nagging feeling of unfairness when faced with the expectation of blind faith.

For some of us, the believing has been a long and steep hill. The jump toward the believing a big leap, of faith.

i had one teacher tell me that one reason why miracles might have disappeared after the first century was because they wouldn't be needed anymore. investigating truth and developing faith would be needed from then on. thought that was cool.
