WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION?

https://www.gotquestions.org/illegal-immigration.html
Silverwings · 61-69, F
Do we have a border or not? Are we a sovereign nation, or not? Do we have a right to protect out lands, our citizens, their property, families, and the Treasury containing the hard earned money we have paid in taxes…or not? Can any number of people, for any reason, force their way into our homeland and expect to receive all the benefits and freedoms of citizenship without allegiance, respect for our laws, lifestyle, government and way of life?

It says that they must abide by the countries laws. period.

@Silverwings"For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14)

@SW-User On the contrary, I am for anyone trying to better themselves, but they must follow the rule of law in order to do so.

Israel was created by illegal immigrants; massacring invaders- to be precise. The old testament is all about God's plan for Jews to murder in his name.

"When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. "(Leviticus 19:33-34)

You can interpret the bible, to mean anything you want. That's when all the hate, persecution, etc starts!

@Harriet03 Very true. If it were perfect there couldn't be multiple interpretations.

@suzie1960 Oh that's just wonderful!

You have to take the whole counsel of the bible into account, not just one verse.

What do you think could make that many people decide at one time that they were intent on getting into the USA, at any cost? They already used force in Mexico! You honestly think they are going to change? And why are most of them men?

Illegal immigration is the breaking of a government’s law. There is nothing in Scripture that contradicts the idea of a sovereign nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is rebellion against God to unlawfully enter another country. Illegal immigration is a sin.

@Silverwings There are international laws regarding refugees, but I'm not a legal expert...at the end we all have to stand before God and give an account of how we have lived our lives, everyone "sins" (gets things wrong, messes up) but I know that if I love my neighbour I am doing at least something right!

Guatemala isolated and arrested one hundred ISIS members who had embedded themselves with the immigrant caravan. ( Thank you Guatemala!

@Silverwings I was answering the question, I don't go to random website links that I don't know and which might contain a virus. But I HAVE read the entire bible - have you?
