I Believe In God

I feel sorry for God! I wish I had someone to pray to that would help God. I know.. it's silly but my heart bleeds for God. It's like when someone goes out of their way to help, make everything good enough to be happy. And we ignore, are unsatisfied, and abusive to what has been given to us.
It has to hurt God's feelings. Hey, it hurts me when I do my best and it ain't good enough! It's like all I've done has been in vain.
This is a very interesting post. Somehow, I don't think God needs anyone to pray for Him (or Her, or That Which Is).

We depend on our sun for the sustenance of all life on Earth, yet no matter how much we take for granted our sun, it keeps supplying all we need to keep going. I think that's how God works, too.

@Echoing Lucky you (on both counts)!
@Harriet03 He was such a genius. I miss him.
Your feeling sorry for God is a burden He wouldn't want you to take on any more than He would want you to feel sorry for yourself. Your prayers help not only you, but God, as well. Any ignorance, dissatisfaction or abuse of what has been given to us, will have its consequences. Those consequences are not "bad" things, but merely indicators - attention-getters which tell us we've gotten off track somehow. As we know, internally, what's "right" and "wrong," our feelings lead us to a means of getting back ON track - back to being in alignment with Him.

I don't believe there is anything you could possibly do, think, have or be which could hurt God's feelings. The hurt you feel when you think you haven't been or done something good enough, and your belief all has been in vain, is a product of your conditioning - maybe religious, societal or parental. Who knows? But all of those things are linked to being OF this world and not IN it, which is exactly where this corporate world wants us to be. Our negative feelings are indicators we've been indoctrinated into something which has separated us from God which detach us from Him, ourselves and each other.

Being IN this world and not OF it, practicing being the best version of YOU you can be and putting love into whatever you do, no matter what it is, would NEVER hurt God's feelings, regardless of whatever conditioning you carry around with you that makes you think otherwise.

Practice alignment with God. Never mind what anyone else does, just focus on you. And please don't be so hard on yourself. Don't get caught up in the image of what you think the outcome should look like. That's falling into the hands of the people who run this planet and are using you for nothing but their own gain.

That with which we have been graced by God, is here for us to delight in, not suffer with. When you're happy with your practice of aligning, not with the results, but with the practice, itself, you'll neither feel sorry for God nor think you're hurting God's feelings.

Don't be afraid to love yourself.

I feel exactly the same. People are so concerned about themselves, but who is concerned about God? Very few. I just want to make him happy after all he has done for us. I'd like us to be friends here!
