If only everybody saw this they might help make a better world!

Whether you are religious or not there is a single thread tracing through human history and that is the idea we are accountable to someone. It's something from the religion and social history of the Ancient Egyptians and it's found in every religion, and social system since.

The Ancient Greek democracies considered themselves accountable,to the Fates, as did the Ancient Romans, and it is there as karma in the Eastern religions (Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism) and it has long been in the pattern of social development from the Japanese to the Ancient Peruvians.

It is only in these Last Days that mankind has sought to do away with the idea, which has simply made our societies more violent, less centred and more fractious. Just because in the last seventy years so much social change has happened does not mean that accountability has been displaced. We will all have to make an account of our lives to the Greater Spirit, the Omniscient Creator, when finally time ends.
