I Keep a Gratitude Journal

My former department moved to the new office today. I helped to draw the interior layout, the discussion space, meeting rooms and reception area before.

My best friend there sent me photos of the new office. It looks nice. It is a bit different from what I knew before I left, but I can still recognize it.

I can't imagine it would be nice while working on it, when I, and my senior especially, had so much criticism on the work of the consultant and contractor. For examples, partitions of the rooms and the desks did not align with the mullions of the curtain wall.

Now all those complaints seem to be trivial.
