I Keep a Gratitude Journal

I am grateful that:

1.Yesterday my best frd/ex went to visit my project site with me, and gave me very useful advice to my project.

2. The dinner we cooked did not smell and taste fishy. We cooked salmon and shrimps. Last week we cooked shrimps that tasted so bad. My best frd/ex cooked very good dessert last night :)

3. Today I completed several small tasks. Got a report sent; revised comment on another report; asked for a survey to be done (with no positive reply but that s ok); asked for the calculation information of another project from a colleague in another team, for calculation of a relevant part of my project; a colleague asked about something in the report so I need to call the consultant and ask even though I had sent the report out; transferred site photos taken yesterday to my computer, which took much time; wrote summary of discussion with 2 colleagues of other disciplines last friday; replied my boss's email asking how much area my project could contribute to a newly requested function. I guess that s all. Most of them need follow up, but this is normal, work is a never ending step by step process so I should appreciate the accomplishment of every small step.

What exactly is a gratitude journal?
Also how can your ex be your best friend?

This is interesting.

@Spica we tried to be lovers but did not work out. He s 24 years older than me and does not like looking after people; I don't want to be a widow when I become middle-aged. We are familiar with each other, get along well as frds, and both have no intention to look for / start a new relationship.
