im Mika. i have a weird story for a girl at my age:)
i opened this account becasue many people (mainly from my country but also from other places) were curious about how is it to be a female commander of a combat unit of male soldiers while being at a very young age for that, while my soldiers are 20-28 years old.

yes, im not 18 at its shows, im 16, and im doing this job for the past year.
the army adressed me 2 years ago when i was 14 becasue they knew im good at martial arts (5 black belts), they took me as an "experiment", and told me i can join the army, into a combat officers course and if i pass ill get ranks and to command a unit.
so i agreed and it took 2 years. (6 monthes of learning hard to complete school material) and 1.5 years of military training.
so sience a year ago, i passed the coursee and got the job:).

and dont worry, my case is a one off case in the Norwegian army. no others female combat unit commanders, especially in my age 😅
