I thought it was another one of those work related "round- table discussions." I didn't want to go because my introversion as always got the better of me. I had forgotten about the invitation, until the phone rang. It was the host reminding me. I had to dress up and show up. To my surprise, I was the only guest. I felt so ashamed of my attitude, 😥 at the same time so touched because I am not really used to such special treatment.
The girl, half my junior, is someone I helped. I have already forgotten about it, because I thought I was just doing what anyone would do to another. Tho it was a long time ago, she came back to tell me how grateful she is. Well, she refreshed and strengthened my heart. I am once again reminded to always do good for you never know when your random act goes a long long way.
Anxiety can cause a physical repulsion to normally Pleasant events. You weren’t rejecting the person or event. You were rejecting the anxiety it caused. I am glad you enjoyed last night. I wondered what happened to you!
