Contrary to the beliefs of some today
Slavery was over 150 yrs ,Women worked and voted
I was teaching black me to take a job that would have been mine were it not for affirmative action but I loved the men I was training like brothers ,hell we were brothers ,,they took care of this white boy during my divorce so good thing they got the jobs ,,I would have pissed it away
My home town was like the Waltons and Mayberry ,in a lot of ways it still is ,,a dollar store is our mall and we only have a few blocks of side walk ,one flashing light ,not a traffic light in the whole place ,
but millionaires love it still, the best hunting and fishing in the country ,,,but its changing ,and like the rest of the country ,not all for the better ,,but such is life
Sometimes I wish I could go back to the 70's and 80's but then I wouldn't have the family I have now ,,wouldn't take anything for them ,,but sometimes ,I wish I could go home again ,,but sadly once you leave ,,its never the same again
