Is iTunes down ?

I logged out of iTunes last night now I cant log back in. I hate to make a new ID because I'm worried about loosing my money I just got I logged out because it kept saying can't connect to App Store I just thought logging out would help but I guess it didnt. Is iTunes down right now ? When will it be fixed ?
