How do you unlove a person?

That’s no longer in love with you, at least that’s how I feel.
Idk if I’m making any sense rn but I’m stuck with wanting to leave the relationship but don’t want to be alone either! I’m so terrified of becoming this lonely ole lady with a bunch of cats. I love him so much but I feel in my heart he doesn’t feel the same for me anymore, I mean he says he loves me but he doesn’t give me what I want, he never did. An when I am away for a few days I get so lonely for him so lonely that I become so depressed which isn’t good. I don’t know what to do.

It's only fair to the both of you to part ways. Can't keep someone hostage thinking they'll change (they have to make an effort to), or just stay with them because you don't want to be alone. That's [b]NOT[/b] real love. That's [b]FEAR.[/b] Neither of you seem to be getting want you need out of it anyways. Trust me, I know it's hard but I was in your shoes once. I had loved someone so much, but they didn't love me and it ended up evolving to the most traumatic relationship I've ever been in. As of now, I am married with the love of my life. Wouldn't have found her, if I was still hoping for something that didn't exist with someone else...

@Jax316 Yes, ma'am. I'm only suggesting these things because I don't want you to go through the amount pain that ensued. 💙 It can get really lonely in a relationship like that as well.. I hope you can really gather enough courage, strength and patience to do what's best for you. You deserve a relationship with someone who'll match your heart with there's. You have that heading your way.
