I have in the past. It's not good to treat anyone as more than just human. Pedestals are meant to fall off of.

Nope. People are worth all the importance that they can get from me, granted I am not being too nice. If I am being too nice then there's obviously something I want from them even if I don't know what it is and if they don't give it to me I am disappointed and all that so I just keep a check on being authentic.

Not at all, sadly that is why this country is in trouble as we have given too much praise / importance to those that have no clue, brains or common sense.

I often feel that my intelligent insight is wasted on people. They get locked into false ideas at an early age.

Sometimes.. people who piss me off I guess.. I always let them talk.. idk of one has ever said anything that changed my mind about them etc.. 🤔
