I Am Not Perfect

I had one guy after three dates tell me that I am, but he hardly knew me. I am a perfectionist however, it how I'm wired. I like thing, life and myself to be clean and organised, pretty and as perfect as I can get it. It hardly ever works out that way of course, but it doesn't stop me trying for it even though I may sit in front of a messy coffee table and in my old pajamas.
But isn't being imperfect an okay thing and starts with our accepting it? Or are we secretly afraid of people finding out we're not so perfect after all once they take the time to know us?
