I Believe In Holistic Medicine

About six months after my fifteen year old German Shepherd passed away I decided to adopt a cat from a couple down the street. The orange tabby had been feral for most of his life and had started begging for food from people in the neighborhood. The couple said they liked his sweet nature and took him in to be neutered and get his shots. Unfortunately he did not get along with the other household cats and had been living in their garage for the past couple months. When I brought him home he was skinny, his fur was stiff and his skin was covered in thick hard scabs. I also noticed his lower lip was slightly puffy. Within the next two days his lip swelled up so big his canines were digging into it. I started doing some research online and figured out they are called "Rat Cysts". They have nothing to do with rats but do seem to be highly prevalent in cats with a compromised immune system. Most of the articles claimed it was incurable and often the cats teeth would need to be removed. Well I thought that was rediculous. So I started him on a strict diet of low carb wet catfood. I eliminated all fish from his diet and made sure his food was never in any kind of plastic. He immediately seemed less irritated and more comfortable. But the lip cysts were still there. Then I started giving him cat viamins which included an L-lysine, a probiotic and a multi vitamin. I also once a day squirted a small amount of Colloidal Silver on top of his food. I can now say proudly that I believe I cured my cat of Rat Cysts. His hair is now extremely soft and shiny. His skin is scab free and he hasn't had a cyst outbreak in over two months. He is a happy healthy cat with all his teeth.
