Hotel California [I Love 'hotel California']

I love the Eagles. It's just somehow my kind of music. I also love Elton John. I got the sheet music of Songs From The West Coast. I play the songs on the keyboard, badly and slowly, not at all like Elton but admire a man who can compose like that and play and sing. A class of your own, Elton! Did Beethoven perform as well? I guess Bach might have.

Eagles rock. I was sad when Glen Frey died. They are going to tour again this year. You should catch a show before they retire.

@TexChik Oh, I should so love to be at an Eagles concert. Like Queen without Freddie. But if they going to retire. It would be lovely if they come to my country. The kids here all love them. My country is a bit old fashioned. We get a lot of flack from the English but Eagles are so in here!

@Blodyn I have seen them three times. All with the "original" members . The Hotel California band. Randy Meisner had already left long before I became aware of the band.

@TexChik It's the songs I know more than who sings them. The Eagles. Hotel California is a special favourite in my college. We call it the college anthem. It isn't really. It's just us kids messing around. It's just all the teachers here were students and they never left. Like they could check out any time they liked but never leave!

@TexChik We love the Eagles. My country is quite a lot old fashioned. Tom is the only boy in my class and he knows we love Eagles so he plays them loud when he is at the potter's wheel making pots.
