I Am a Lesbian

I've been free from the confines of my closet for years now, but for some reason coming out to new folks still isn't as easy as saying 'Hi my name is gay.' I figured I should be more confident about this now. I guess that's what the internet is for. Being anonymous helps.

Still, I envy people who can just say it. I need to work on that.

I have many gay friends and I do not see why you really need to tell anyone that you are gay.. that should not be a prerequisite to meeting someone.. just be you :)

Yes it can be difficult at times showing your true self to others ... just be yourself

All people are different...coming out can be different for everybody too, some announce themselves, some take baby steps some never do
just fill your heart and soul with what you require, whatever that is, raw pleasure or emotional stability, or conventional love... most important ...Be the you that lives within!
