Should I dye my hair purple?

@dumpstermeow: I thought I'd get it done at a beauty school. What shade of purple? Did you use a dye or a rinse? What brand? How did it come out?

@traumepertube: I am retired so no work or boss or dress code in my life.

@bijouxbroussard: A hairdresser who didn't like me decided to use a light purple rinse on my hair; it was a surprise to me! Later, I rinsed it out but it kind of looked good on me, added more life to my complexion.
