I mean, even if you've never seen this one before, it seems like a pretty insignificant thing to be bothered by. The only point of it is to say that two groups of people who share nothing in common both share an interest in a certain fashion trend. That's it.

@MethDozer Metal has been fairly mainstream for a long time. Punk was mainstream for a very short time. It's been popular for a long time but I would never call punk mainstream.

@MethDozer It's not supposed to be edgy. Style being associated with something doesn't make it edgy. Country music subculture is associated with cowboy hats and big belt buckles, that's not edgy. Same goes for jazzers wearing berets and wooden bead necklaces. The point isn't that it is no longer edgy, the point is that SJW's and rockers hate each other so why are SJW's trying to take style from someone they have nothing in common with?

@DeluxedEdition Yeah I'm generally of the opinion that we should encourage people to be healthy but at the same time there's absolutely no reason to be a dick to anyone. We do tend to give fat people way too much shit.
