Yes or no to this dress?

I am going to a family birthday on the 15th and I'm having 2nd thoughts on what to wear. I like this dress but I wish the pattern was all over as the area it is missing from makes me feel it looks like a maternity dress. Any thoughts welcome 🤷‍♀️

Im a similar shape. Id find something without the 'cut off' around the middle. And maybe something that allows you to wear a good bra....thats makes a heck of a difference x

I see what you mean by thinking it looks like a maternity dress, but I bet it does look better standing up, your sitting pic takes away from the flow, even given the block stop,, i don't mind it, though, i could vote yes

I’m not trying to sound bitchy but i wear a corset under some of my dresses and I think that might help. Or I would try going for something that hasn’t got a pattern and just a solid colour.

I'm skeptical that a corset would work 😅 But I'm not worried about hiding myself or anything, I just had doubts over the effect the hem being under the bust had, and where the pattern ended.

It is a weird choice to have the pattern stop and start again where it does, but it looks nice! Would be better if it was patterned all over. It does sort of highlight your middle. Looks comfortable though.
