When do you dress formal?

Whenever the occasion calls for it. To do otherwise would be tacky.

It also depends on your definition of formal.

Very rarely. Last time I dressed formally was for my wedding last December and that was the first time in ages.

Wedding, funeral and business meetings

Often have to wear suits for work.
