What do you consider to be expensive when buying makeup or skincare products?

DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I wont pay over $40.00 for something I wash down the drain at the end of the day.
BunnyBrawler · 22-25, F
That’s a good way to look at but your skin does absorb the product @DearAmbellina2113

@BunnyBrawler I tend to spend more on skincare than makeup.

Anything over $15 makes me suspicious.
BunnyBrawler · 22-25, F
Why’s that? @SW-User

@BunnyBrawler it starts to feel like they are charging for the name or some unproven claims.
BunnyBrawler · 22-25, F
That’s true! @SW-User
Anything above $15. There's usually something just as good below that price.

I can buy a nice little palette of my favorite green eyeshadows at the Dollar Tree, or I can buy the same thing at Ulta Beauty or at the Clinique counter at Macy's, or Sephora, and spend 49.99.

It's a test, to see how dumb women really are.

Anything more than $2 or $3. I'm not high maintenance with beauty products.

Anything over $10.21
BunnyBrawler · 22-25, F
That’s quite specific @SW-User

@BunnyBrawler You know I love the specifics!!!
Carazaa · F
Something more than $50

Nothing is expensive. As long as it works, doesn't matter if it's $0.50 USD or $200.
HannahSky · F
Depends on the product.
lipstickguy · 61-69, M
in general nothing is expensive if it makes you feel better about you. it really bothers me when a woman has a poor self image. women see flaws that are not there and men see amazing male specimens in the mirror. go figure
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Over $20 for an item, but I have spent more on concealer and it was worth it.
SW-User
Depends.
My foundation cost around 30, but it's long lasting
