I used to straighten my hair when I was younger (12-15 or so), and my hair is naturally wavy (as pictured in most photos). But the other day I tried curling my hair, just for the fun of it. It actually turned out really well and boosted my mood tremendously. I don’t know why, but I absolutely love when my hair is curled, and I typically think it looks good on others as well. (I’ll attach a photo of how my hair went because I just like it so much and doubt I’ll ever get my hair to go that well again lol.)
As you know it shouldn't matter what others think but here we are. You asked so let me be honest.... you're hair looks gorgeous, you look gorgeous. I think the curls give body but it also gives it life. It looks healthier than straight hair could ever look.
You are lovely, and that will be true, straight hair or curly. The standing rib roast doesn't taste better because they put frilly little leggings on it.
I don’t necessarily worry about my hair - i typically just wash and air dry it. Nothing more than that. But I thought it was interesting how something so minor as a change in hair style boosted my confidence. Just something I never thought too much about before.
